Held: Somatic Release

Where your body unwinds what your mind can’t
Enquire about sessions

Trauma-aware bodywork for deep release.

Restore natural flow.

Feel free and alive.

The body holds what you’ve learned not to feel

You can understand your patterns.
You can decide to respond differently.

And then in the moment, the same responses take over.

The body still holds the imprint.
What’s held in the body shapes how your system reacts.

This is why change can feel hard… and often doesn’t stick.

Lasting change happens in the body
You have to feel it, to heal it

Trauma-aware, body-based work

This work is about restoring the natural flow of energy through the body.
We work with touch, breath, and awareness.
Guided by sensation and the natural movement of your system, we support the release of what’s been held — while staying as grounded and resourced as possible throughout.

This process is designed to support you to:

  • Release what’s been held.
  • Help your system to move the way it was designed to.
  • Work with the felt experience in the body, rather than analysing the story.
So you can feel more open, more responsive, and more fully alive.

Sessions include

Initial exploration (intake / consultation call)

Grounding and guided body awareness practices

Hands-on somatic bodywork (wITH consent)

Real-time guidance to stay present with sensation

Integration and aftercare (optional follow-up)

Sessions are slow, responsive, and led by your system.

What sessions can support

  • chronic tension or holding
  • emotional overwhelm or shutdown
  • feeling disconnected from your body
  • difficulty expressing needs or desires
  • patterns that repeat despite understanding them

This is a consent-led, collaborative space.
We work at a pace your system can meet.
You are always in choice.
